Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Bizlynk collects when you use biz-lynk.com and our services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to support@biz-lynk.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

Account details — your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form; we cannot see them.
Business profile — business name, address, phone, website, social media links, industry, business description, and what you are looking for.
Notification preferences — the email address, phone number, and contact method you choose for alerts.
Orders and messages — the orders you post and the messages you exchange with other businesses on the Service.
Plan and billing status — which plan you are on. Payment card details are entered with our payment provider and are not stored by Bizlynk.

Information collected automatically: the date of your last login, and the technical information any web server receives, such as your IP address and browser type, which may appear in server logs.

2. How we use your information

To create and run your account and keep you signed in.
To match your orders and profile with other businesses and show you relevant customer orders.
To deliver messages between businesses and send you notifications you have asked for.
To send service emails, such as password reset links and plan changes.
To process plan upgrades and provide customer support.
To keep the Service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.

3. What other businesses can see

Orders you post are shown to businesses the Service matches them with. If you post an order anonymously, your identity is hidden until you and the other business connect. When an order is accepted, both businesses' names and contact details are shared with each other so you can do business.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers who help us run Bizlynk — our customer relationship management and communications platform (which stores your contact and profile details and a record of your activity on the Service), our payment provider, and our web hosting provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
With other users, as described in section 3.
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Bizlynk, our users, or others.
In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of Bizlynk, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. Cookies

Bizlynk uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads; see Google's privacy policy for how it handles that information.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep it to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Messages you sent to other businesses may remain visible to them.

7. Security

We protect your information with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your business profile and notification settings at any time from your Account page.
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@biz-lynk.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. We will respond to requests as those laws require.

9. Children

Bizlynk is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect.
